The 30-foot slide is the one adults line up for. It takes the most yard and it is the piece that ends up in everyone's photos. The castle combo at $250 suits younger kids and smaller yards: they bounce, climb and slide in one unit, and the splash pool is shallower.
Water, power and drainage
You provide the garden hose connection and a power outlet within reach of the blower. The ground under and around a water slide stays wet for hours, so choose a spot that drains and keep it clear of patio furniture, speakers and extension cords. Grass is ideal; concrete works when we anchor with sandbags.
